Corewell Health East is seeking dedicated OB/GYN Laborists to provide in-house coverage at our high-volume (>3,000 deliveries) labor and delivery units at Royal Oak and Dearborn. In this role, you will deliver safe, evidence-based obstetric care, collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, respond to obstetric emergencies, support patient triage and resource management, and help ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes. Responsibilities include managing unassigned and high-risk patients, providing clinical consultation and support to physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, residents, and medical students, facilitating patient transfers, and participating in safety initiatives. Candidates must be committed to high-quality patient care, strong teamwork, and continuous clinical excellence while maintaining an on-site presence on the unit throughout scheduled shifts. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
