Gould Medical Group, part of Sutter Health, is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalists and Laborists to join its growing team in Modesto, California.

Both positions are based at Memorial Medical Center, a 423-bed Level II trauma center with a Level III NICU, providing physicians with the resources and clinical support to care for a diverse obstetric population.

OB Hospitalist/Laborist
Join Gould Medical Group as an employed OB Hospitalist/Laborist in Modesto.
The position offers a predictable hospitalist schedule of either 16 twelve-hour shifts or eight 24-hour shifts per month. Physicians practice at Memorial Medical Center alongside a stable and growing multispecialty team representing more than 30 specialties.
The position offers a starting base salary of $403,200, along with a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Additional benefits include a 12% employer-funded 401(k) contribution, shareholder eligibility after two years, annual CME allowance, health, dental and vision insurance, group-paid malpractice and tail coverage, annual profit sharing for shareholders, performance bonuses, and relocation assistance.
OB Laborist/Hospitalist – Per Diem
For physicians seeking flexibility, Gould Medical Group also offers a per diem OB Laborist/Hospitalist opportunity at Memorial Medical Center.
Per diem physicians are compensated at $4,200 per 24-hour shift and benefit from malpractice coverage and access to Epic.
This is an excellent option for physicians who want to practice within an established multispecialty medical group while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.
