SOGH RISE Fund Grant

Call for Applications

The Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists is pleased to announce a call for proposals for projects that support the primary aim of SOGH to promote and improve outcomes for hospitalized birthing persons and to support those who share this mission by promoting the hospitalist model as the care standard.

Successful applicants will submit projects that align with the RISE Fund values from which the grant will be awarded.

Projects will be prioritized according to the focus areas of the RISE fund below:

  • Research. Interventions that focus on improving care for hospitalized patients. Cross institutional initiatives
    are especially encouraged.
  • Inclusion. Interventions or study in improving outcomes for marginalized or minority populations and providers.
  • Safety. Quality improvement projects that directly affect the care of inpatient birthing persons.
  • Education. Interventions aimed at education for domestic or international providers of care for birthing persons.

A maximum of $2,000 may be awarded based on the merit and needs of the project. Awarded projects will be presented upon completion at the Annual Clinical Meeting in 2026, with extensions available upon request.

Please complete the application below by Friday, August 15 to be considered for this grant. Awards will be announced at the 2025 ACM in Seattle. Preference will be given to current SOGH members.
